This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks solid. I can’t tell if it needs a paint job on the side or if that’s there by design.
“This jeep runs great. 51 Willys with a 327. Edelbrock intake and carb. Dana tranny & transfer case. rancho suspension. New Optima red top. new seats and new top. everything works. Fun to drive.”
No pics provided. The seller says they can stand on the side steps. It sounds like it’s a flattie of some type.
“1940’s Willys jeep frame, engine, trans, transfer case, and body. Has tailgate, missing windshield. In good shape tub not rusted out, can still stand on side steps.”

There’s some value here. The engine’s been rebuilt.
“FOR SALE: One Willys CJ-3A that just needs someone to finish it. This unit has the original tailgate, and the dash is almost original. The engine in the frame is a Chevy 4.3 V6 with zero miles on the rebuild. The brakes are new, and has a leaf spring lift with new shackles. The transmission is a T90 attached to a Dana 18 transfer case. The axles are serviced, and have 5:38 gear ratios. The registration is up to date (non-op) and Ca. smog is not needed. $800.00 OBO.”
