Heading South to the FC Round Up

• CATEGORIES: Bantam-FordGP-WillysMA-EarlyJPs, Features • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Ann and I are packing our bags and preparing for our trip down to the FC Round Up tomorrow (Monday morning).  We will be leaving Pasco around 6am and stopping in Boise to drop off some books (hopefully sell some at the coffee shop where I wrote a good portion of the book), grab some fries at the Boise Fry Company and some sourdough at the Boise COOP, and then head further south for Salt Lake where we will spend Monday night.  Tuesday we will be heading through Utah and stopping somewhere near the Grand Canyon.  We’ll be in Mesa Wednesday evening.

If you are along our path through I-84/I-15 let me know and we’ll see if we can swing by for a quick visit.

We just completed a few new t-shirts.  It’s the Bantam design I’ve been playing with for a year.  We bought some random shirts and tried the design with different colors.  The picture below is pretty crappy, so use your imagination.

1948 CJ-2A Hesperia, MI **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A, DJ-3A • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800

I don’t see to many surreyized CJ-2As.

“1948 Willys CJ2A in pretty good shape. Does not have a title. I have not started it in about 8 years, but have oil in the cylinders. It was converted to 12 volt. Transfer case or 4 wheel drive works.I have the doors, but are not shown installed. One window is cracked in one of the doors. Have been meaning to restore and get new parts to tighten up the steering and suspension. It needs brake work. Two new tires on the back. Have an extra seat and two old heaters to go with it. Stored in the barn for the last 16 years.”

It’s a part’s jeep.

“Here is my 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A. I do have a clear title in my name. The engine is in the back of the Jeep partially apart. I don’t know why. I bought the Jeep this way. Body is pretty good for being a Eastern Jeep. Any questions feel free to ask! $1500.00 Or Best Offer.”

1946 CJ-2A + Trailer Fort Worth, Tx **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A, trailer • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Was priced at $5950. ***SOLD****

“The original L 134 “Go Devil” 4 cylinder engine runs great. The 4 wheel drive works good also. I added WARN locking hubs, Optima 6V battery, had the brake system professionally redone, and other work that I will give the complete history on to serious buyers. Most of the jeep I believe is still original vintage. The tub has a few rust spots here and there, but still pretty solid overall. Fold down windshield has plexiglass that is scratched but still usable for road wind / rain block when you need it. Underneath there are some drips and leaks from some seals and gaskets, but nothing serious. Would make a good fix up hobby jeep for somebody mechanically inclined, or to use as is, as I have done.
