This looks like a nice foundation.
“This is a restored running Chassis for a 1951 M38 Jeep, It could be used for a CJ3A also. It has all the correct engine numbers, transmission, axles and frame for the M38. The engine has been rebuilt and runs great. It idles smooth and quiet with 50 lbs. oil pressure. You can see and hear it run before you buy it. It has to many new parts to list in this ad, Steering, Suspension, Chassis, Brake Parts, Exhaust System, Etc. Nearly every part on this chassis has been blasted to bare metal and painted. It has a clear Indiana title listed as a 1951 Willeys Jeep with the correct year ID #. You could not build this chassis yourself for anywhere near this kind of money! This chassis comes with a lot of misc new and used Jeep parts. $3500.00 OBO. Call 260 432-1663 or cells 260 438-1724 or 260 348-6240.”

This needs to be completed. Engine non original. Seller also has a Bantam Trailer for $850, too.
“This is a 1942 Willys MB GP (Jeep). Not a CJ. The pictures pretty much describe it best. This Willys has extraordinary potential for restoration with minimal rust — which is why I bought it in the first place. Having the data/serial number tag was a big bonus as well.
My employer has already given me notice of an upcoming transfer/move, so I’m selling off a lot of my projects that I won’t have time to complete. It will obviously need someone with time and knowledge to restore, but for those of us that enjoy breathing new life into something with so much history, this is a perfect candidate. As you can see in the photos, it has a cutaway section in the firewall where, at some point in its past, someone wanted a bigger engine it. They had also removed the engine mounts and the front cross member, but I have an original replacement cross member that goes with it. The transmission still has an adapter plate mounted to it, which was probably meant for the V6 Buick motor that was typically put in the early Willys CJ’s.
There is a T-90 transmission and transfer case still mounted in the Jeep, and I have an extra T-90 transmission, as well as a T-84 transmission that is in pieces and would need rebuilt. I also have an extra WWII era cowling (in pic) that can be used to bring the dash back to original. Included is a CJ engine that is in good condition, which may be a ’46 or ’47 but I’m not sure. I removed the head to inspect the inside, and it looks very good – should someone want to use this engine since it’ll bolt up the same as the military engine. I have several extra rims (with old tires), radiator, carb, flywheel, drive shafts, rear axle, and lots of misc engine and body pieces.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500
A spring-over- had been added to this jeep.
“I have had it sitting for a few years and don’t have time for it. It’s pretty much completely stock except for a spring over kit and floor boards replaced. It has not been started in about 4 years but ran when parked. Has a TEXAS TITLE!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $175.
The tires and rims look ready to mount.
“For Sale ~ Four (4) Willys 15″ Steel Rims with Radial Tires (205 x 70 x 15). Rims in great shape ~ Tires have 75%+ tread. See photos. These came off a FC150 but will work on CJ3B, CJ5/6 and FC150/170 and others.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500
This has potential.
“This is a serious project, but it’s all there. Currently has a 235 Chevy straight six. Turns over with compression. Run a year or so ago. Truck has not been registered since 1974. Has black plates. No longer in the system and I can give you a bill of sale but that’s it. Took this truck in on a trade, and maybe I shouldn’t have, but I have ridden in it off road and it is a fun a old beast. Gas tank needs to be mounted and the brakes need work to be any use. 4 wheel drive works fine and she’ll climb anything you want. Will trade for motorcycle, project OK plus $$$ Maybe for a 4 door family car, but that’s about it, no 420, no electronics etc.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,500.
“1947 never any rust. always garaged, 22000 original miles. This is the civilian model of the WWII jeep. Original and running well !”
