Doesn’t run at the moment. I doubt this is an ‘easy’ restoration.
“Rare find and an easy restore! Surface rust only. Inline 6 cyl #4-134 F-Head. Motor is out and is not locked up, but unsure if it will run. Tranny and Transfer case still in. Call Tony at 662-844-1515 daytime. Evenings call 662-321-0025.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200
Here’s a project.
“Up for sale is a Willys Jeep CJ-6 PROJECT..
Have tub, cj-5 front clip, axles, CJ-7 lift springs (2″ or 4″.. not sure… may be stock) and a custom made 2×4 box tube frame.
For those who don’t know.. a CJ6 is a long wheel base, stretched out, CJ5 (an early scrambler if you will…) 101″ Wheelbase”
If the underside rust is nil, given the motor change and the gutter rot this would be a good candidate for Tour Wagon.
“Willys Wagon 4×4. Chevy 283 eng. 12v. Running, registered, rusty, rotting rain gutter, ready for restoration. Needs another body. Lots of original parts – seats, rims, etc. No e-mails. (562) 33one-one483. Long Beach. Best offer. View any day after 2pm.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500
There is some parts value here. I thought the hardtop was interesting.
“I have a M38A1 Jeep that I need to let go. I’m not going to lie, it needs work. The body has a lot of rust from sitting on the west side most of its life. It has been converted from 24V to 12V, but the rewire job is not complete. It comes with two motors. The original motor needs barrings and has been removed. The motor in it is from a ’47 Jeep and only has 30k miles on it. It is a project and as much as I would like to invest the time and money, I lack both. There is NO TITLE and it will need to be towed away. Will consider all reasonable offers.”
Mark just listed these parts at sellajeep.

(11/06/2012) This looks nice, though the paint on the front clip appears worn.
“I am selling my 1949 Willys Sedan Delivery Panel Truck.
I have owned it since 1986.
It has sat in my garage all these years waiting for me to redo. I started it up last summer and drove it around the block a few times.
It has around 25,000 original miles.
All Original.
It has aftermarket wheels on it now, but I have the Original Rims & Hubcaps.
I am asking $14,900 O.B.O.”

(09/26/2013) No pics, but it sounds like a VEC.
