Only a small glimpse of a Bantam BRC-60, but still a neat card.
“The “linen card” era lasted from about 1931 through the 1940’s, when new printing processes allowed printing on postcards made with a high rag content that created a linen-like finish. Postcards published in this era, with views of a particular city, town or tourist attraction inside large letters that spell out the name of the location, are called Large Letter Linens.”

This looks solid. The drain holes appear plugged, but I can’t tell for sure.

Joe checked this one out. He needs someone to buy this so he doesn’t buy it. Below is his great report on the vehicle:
“I don’t think they know if it is ’41, ’42, or later since the title has an “Assigned Registration” sticker on it. I think this means the title is based on what an owner reported to DMV/MVD, rather than what a true title history or expert might have detemined. The numbers plate was not on the glove box and I forgot to check the frame behind the front tire. Despite some surface rust, it’s probably still there.
A title for the vehicle (but ONLY if you take it ALL with you: he’s had full price offers for just the title and refuses)
· 1942 GPW Body (not Ford script) in rough but restorable condition.
· 1942? GPW Frame cut at the front horns, homemade bumpers, and power? steering box.
· Front and rear full floating (military type) axles and springs.
· Front locking hubs (Warn old-school type – see pic).
· Bumperettes (sitting in the back: looked good… might be newer than WWII, though).
· CJ2A “bug-eyed” 7-slot front grill.
· Decent modern bucket seats that look comfortable and useable.
But…
· No engine, no transmission or transfer case, no drive shafts
· No windshield, no gas tank, no orig seat frames
· No combat rims, no spare tire bracket, no gas can holder”
