“For sale two 1942 ? GPW ford WW2 jeeps .I was going to part out both Jeeps as they are loaded with original F marked parts ,but in my opinion both rolling frames are way to nice to be parted out and a great start to someone restoring a WW2 Ford in need of an original rolling frame or original tub. The first frame is in excellent original condition with lots of original paint and correct running gear . Frame id number is GPW101852. Machine gun mount ,original springs ,rear pintle hook and bumper gussets all there.
The second frame is also very respectable for its age with lots of original paint in tact . There is one area in need of repair in back of rear drivers side spring ,which was a common problem area on these jeeps. Can easily be repaired. ID number on this frame isGPW69089 with a star after the last number.
Both tubs are there but in need of replacement floor panels and some work . I have definitely seen much worse brought back to life. On the greenish looking tub there is an excellent pair of original F marked fenders and hood ,along with a decent drivers and passenger seat frame. There is also a rear seat frame that is rough at best .The Blueish tub is about the same with original fenders not as nice, but a very decent hood. There are no grilles included ,no body tags ,and widshields are rough. also no gauges. There is also one correct T84 transmission – transfer case with e brake assembly included ,and one good running motor .It has a GPW stamped head but not sure if its just the head or a military motor. No carb. Basically what you see in pictures is what you are getting and anything else I can find related.
$2500 for all of it.”
This has quite a few updates.
