Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks to be a CJ-2A chassis with a M-38 body and a MB/GPW windshield. That’s my best guess.

If this were closer, I’d snap it up in a heartbeat.

This is a power in only.The mounting bracket not exact fit but with some new holes and your mad skills it would be mounted up before lunch! Both are projects. Looks like the 3A includes a half top.

Seller has listed this at $100, but that might just be a random figure. It’s a mix of GPW and CJ-2A parts.
“’43(?) Ford GPW parting out. This project is just going to be to big for me. Bought it as a CJ2A but have just found out that it is a Ford GPW. Frame serial number was ground off for an engine support. Have tub (very ruff shape), frame and axels (JC2A not PGW axels). Looking at cutting it up and taking to the scrapers. So let me know if you need anything off of it.”
