Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I purchased this Toledo Built 1942 Willys CJ-2A several years ago with the intent to rebuild it. However, my eyes were bigger than my stomach, and after realizing the time and energy required for such an extensive rebuild (and getting married), I have decided to part with it. If you have any questions, please call or text. I would be happy to have you come and see it. All major components are present (Hood, Windshield, Tailgate, Fenders, Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, Axles, etc.) as well as four matching wheels (front wheel removed during initial attempt at disassembly) and ID plate. Somewhat flexible on price, I just want to make sure it’s used for a good purpose.”

“Selling a 1962 jeep fleet van or fj-3a. has a 4 cylinder chevy iron duke engine with 2 speed power glide auto trans. Will need a tune up and brakes and a battery and some other tinkering to be road worthy. does not run..
Clean body.. a lot of the rear and side glass is cracked.. front windshield is good.. no rust.. straight body.. original bumpers.. cool 70s Cragar wheels. good floors.. everything is there..
No paper work.. off dmv system..
Real head turner.. great for advertising.. or just an unusual rare toy that you can actually use like a truck or van..
there is a pretty good following for these rare jeeps.. when properly restored they can bring over 20k.. asking 4500.”
