Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6200. This has an aluminum body, most likely an aqualu. It also has a military passenger fender and possibly rear hubs. The chassis might be earlier than a ’49.
“1949 flat fender aluminum body Willys Jeep. Rebuilt motor still needs fluids and hoses hooked up. Clutch and u joints are disconnected. Has the L head 4 cylinder motor. This jeep needs a little work still but everything works great.”

“For sale 1953 M38A1 early tilt grill, very complete, 9500 mi. good straight body and frame, 24v.Comes with most fording kit parts. Engine has good comp. and oil pressure, but has a lower end noise. Price reduced to $4000”
