Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (06/21/2013) Looks like a solid jeep.
“Completely rebuilt Ford OH valve 4 cyl. engine; 5 (five) miles on it. Tilt leather steering wheel. Title, licensed to 2015. Two tops included. Completely gone through. $8K in receipts for lots of work (2013). $14K invested. Selling for $6,000.”

A variety of repairs have been done to this 2A.
“90% Restored. Includes new floor, under braces, brakes, shocks, gas tank, wiring, and much more… Was running well. Been in storage for 7 months. Comes with extra wheel rims (see picture). For sale as is. You haul. Best offer accepted. Clear title. Serious inquiries only.”

No pics verify this is a CJ-6, but there looks to be parts value. Seller is uncertain about title.

“Engine was pulled in 1988-1990 for a rebuild and never made it back in. As far as I know, the trans/axles are still in good working condition, just have been sitting covered in the driveway since then. Frame has some serious rust issues around the front leaf spring rear mount. Hubs turn freely, as does the input shaft of the trans.
Pulled the body off this week as I am building a new frame from 2×3″ and dropping in a fuel injected 2.3 Ford/m5od and a set of YJ axles, so it’s better if I just start fresh.“

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500. This is likely a 2A body and chassis. The rear full floating axles could be military or an update to the 2A axles.
“Old Jeep, No Drivetrain. Has both front and rear axles, but no engine or transmission. Former owner started converting to small block Chevy, got as far as losing powertrain and torching motormounts out of frame. (yes, an idiot)

“Solid body w/no rust but not perfect . Mid 80s GM iron dukes 4 motor , run excellent . Rebuilt carburetor. New master cylinder , brakes are in very good shape . Good BF mud terrain tires. Smittybilt winch. Brand new tow bar . Has late 70s jeep rear and front end. This was updated right, make it a lot better on the road , cruise 60 mph no problem , you’d be rebuilding the original flat heads if you tried that . Home made bikini top . No trades”
Mark posted this no-researve auction ad at warjeeps.com. The auction takes place September 20th in Cedar Bluff, Virginia. I didn’t see pics of the 1941 parts jeep.

“1967 Jeep CJ6
Engine is a 225 Buick V6 original with a 3 speed transmission
The Jeep runs and drives but needs the brakes rebuilt. Jeep will need to be trailered. Jeep has been sitting several years but no rust that I can see in the body. Odometer reads 11877 miles not sure if that is accurate.
Jeep has a Jacobs snow plow blade with Hydraulic cylinder up and down control that works.
Asking price is $3500 or make reasonable offer.
