Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a blue cj 3b willys jeep 4×4. 225 odd fire v6. hydraulic clutch. power steering. 4 wheel power disc brakes. Led tail lights. 3 speed trans. 33x1250x15 tires with old school aluminum slots. custom rear bumper with reciever hitch. sitting on cj7 springs. has 5:38 gears. aftermarket radio with sd and usb. Looking to trade for a newer jeep but open to all offers. Title in hand. This is a very clean and very nice jeep. Needs a good home. Email or text me anytime. I can send more pics if needed.”

The rear facing back seat is unusual.
“1949 Willys Jeep CJ3A. 4X4. Powered by a Buick 225 V6. This jeep has had a frame off restoration. Rhino lined inside and underneath, and multiple coats of epoxy paint. All new exhaust, wiring, radiator, red top battery, ignition and seat cushions and covers. Aftermarket overdrive mated to the original transmission so it can do freeway speeds. Front brakes are 10 inch from a CJ7, so it will actually stop with like new rubber all the way around. Has forced air heater. Rear facing removable seat from a wrangler with seatbelts. Gas cans with mounting brackets. Have multiple manuals, receipts and many extra parts. This little jeep runs and drives great, but we just don’t drive it enough to keep it.”

For Sale: Good running Jeep CJ6. only 50,172 ever made! The jeep has california plates and I’m the third owner. Clean title. This was my project jeep, but with a four year old and a new job, I just don’t have the time to get it done. Jeep runs well. Here are all the things that I recently did.
totally replaced wiring with EZ Wiring 21. New Speedometer, new fuel gauge, new water, temp, engine gauge. have digital clock for it. New alternator. New turn signal and rear led brake lights. Motor is strong! This is a 3 speed with an overdrive. Has the Dauntless V6 engine (unknown mileage, but strong running with good compression!) and the T90 transmission.”

“its a 52 willys cj3. its a play toy that if you want can be made street legal. has 302 ford motor with stock drive train. 5.38 front and rear end gears. rear end is posi and front is open. warn locking hubs 3 speed trans with twin stick transfer case.
newer front and rear military wrap leaf springs
full cage and all metal tub.
was restored in 80’s so it is a rust free tub.
has a ok to useable fiberglass hood
front window is broke
the transfer case popped and wont go back into gear now.
to meny projects so this one has to go.
there are meny other things that have been done to this but cant think of all of them right now.
oh there is a 8000lbs winch on front. slow pull with auto brake. has great controll for one person to use”

“This jeep is a project that is about 1/2 finished. Plans have changed and it is no longer needed. Many new parts! Frame is cleaned and painted with Por-15. New steel fenders, fiberglass tub, also hav original tail gate. Has all original seat frames!”
