This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Very complete and original 1951 M38 Jeep project. 24 volt system is intact ! All nomenclature plates / data tags present . Serial number MC34482 Date of Delivery 9/1951. Needs Resto , ran when parked, motor turns freely . LOTS of parts included, like the windshield frame and pioneer tools , etc. Bill of Sale Only”

“This is a Willys Jeep 4×4 Flatfender project. Very solid 1960ish CJ3B frame–chosen for its strength above all other flatty frames. Currently has a 4.3 Chevy GM Vortec motor ( condition unknown–assume its an anchor! ) with 4 speed auto and adapter to Jeep transfer case. Includes a previously installed MD Juan All Steel replica tub, in need of a some floor repair but nice and straight. Also have all steel nose and windshield frame, your choice of M38 , CJ2A , CJ3B , or MB GPW . I also have available a 1951 Willys military M38 flathead motor that runs great if you want to build a cool Tribute Jeep. Also have a 1969 Camaro Z20 M21 close ratio 4 speed adapted to a late model 18 transfer case with Hurst shifter if your building a hotrod Jeep . PTO winch setup available too, and PTO rear unit for Ag Jeep”

(09/11/2013) This is rough, but appears to have some history.
“1952 Willys M38 Military Jeep project. Korean War era. Appears to have been re-purposed for the Air National Guard. Blue paint and numbers and lettering over the original olive drab. Rusty but fairly straight. Motor appears to be frozen. Has many of the original parts. Number tags. Blackout lights. Clean registration. I was going to sell it once before but then decided to restore it, but have changed my mind again. Could be restored back to Military or done as Air National Guard. It is a pretty cool old Jeep..”

Here’s a rare Marx toy jeep with a trailer and an original box.

This jeep spent 30 years in storage, but runs and drives.
“1947 willys CJ2A original. In storage for 30 years. New clutch, brakes, soft top, roll bar. New wiring and lights. 12 volt system and wipers. runs good $7,500 or best offer.”
It has a few updates and is a blend of a CJ-2A and M-38. It it runs well it might be worth a look.
1950 willy’s jeep. Has a Buick 231 V-6, T-90 3 spd./ Spicer 18, Dana 44/27, 11″ Ford drum brakes, Saturn overdrive. This is an M-38 Korean war model but has a 1947 CJ-2A body on it. $3000.00″
