Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Obviously, this is not all original. It’s even got the wrong windshield. But, it runs and drives.

“Life gets in the way, I would love to restore this old girl but I just don’t have the time. I’ve spent a lot of time taking everything apart and starting to clean things up for a full ground up restoration but my time is needed elsewhere and I would like this to go to someone who will take care of her. There is only one cancer spot on the body tub and it’s under the passenger seat in the compartment and it’s not very big, should be a simple fix. I have a bunch of other parts with this as well. A few combat rims,CJ2A parts like a frame, fenders, trans/transfer case, axles. This is a project so you will need a trailer to get her home, I will help with what I can, but the frame is hard to move.”
