Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (04/29/2015) Based on the serial number this should be a VEC, but there are no tool indents.

To be complete and original it should have a drain gutter at the hood hinge. As Jaime points out, it has also been converted to 12 volt.
