UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was on eBay.
Looks like a parts FC.
“This is a parts truck only! NO TITLE!! Lots of rust & rot. BUT!!! it is all there. 5 OEM wheels, engine, trans, transfer case, front and rear differentials, suspension, interior components, intact engine dog box with lids, battery box lid (working), spare tire carrier, parking lights, door handles, emblems, seat frames, head light doors, the drive shaft is bent but it’s there. Engine IS STUCK!!. The last time it was on the road was 1977. To bad about the glass (idiots), no bullet holes in body.
I bought this about 2 years ago hoping to find an FC to restore, no such luck. I could not bring myself to allow it to be crushed/scraped.”
Not sure why the seller thinks this is a “m138 military model”.
“1975 Jeep CJ-6, M138 military model. Last month of last year manufacturered. Body like CJ-8, with a 20″ longer wheel base. 258 straight 6, 3 speed with Power steering. Completely original, including paint. 3rd owner with 68,047 documented miles. Clear title.”

I’m back after a couple of days of camping. Since I worked while camping, I took last night off. However, I do have several posts for today. Enjoy!
This Koenig brochure highlights the early tops made by the company. This brochure was produced circa 1948.
