The “popular head swap”? I’m pretty sure he means engine swap …
“948 willys overland jeep
fuel: gas
title status: clean
transmission: manual
this truck I recently found in a garage in the marina district of San Francisco. it had not ran since 1995. so I guess you could call it a barn find. I trailered it home, flushed out the gas tank, replaced the fuel lines, dropped a new 6volt battery in it, replaced the coil and adjusted the points. it fired first try after purging the empty fuel system. completely rust free, it has the popular head swap which puts the carburetor through the hood, that is the only mod. this won’t last long.”

If by military wheels the seller means combat rims, then this could be a good price!

No pics provided. Just the winch.
“Winch is a 1960’s Koenig PTO / chain driven made to mount on rear of Willys and CJ Jeeps. I believe it is rated at 8000lb. I have the Jeep drawbar and winch carrier assembly for CJ2A, CJ3A, CJ3B which can be negotiated for extra. May possibly fit M38 or CJ5 with modification along with other vehicles such as International Harvester Scout and Ford Bronco. Could also be mounted to trailer or tractor. Appears complete, however untested.
Does not include the driveshaft or jeep PTO unit. Email for more info. Would consider trading for CJ3A/CJ2A parts. Located in Peculiar, may be able to meet in KC Area.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
(07/19/2017) It runs, but needs brake work.
“This is a 1948 Jeep Willys. Have a clean title. The jeeps runs but needs work. Gas tank is rusted so it could use a new one ($150). I just run the fuel line to a big of fuel when it’s running. The water pump gasket leaks so that will need attention. The brakes could use some work but for an all original willys this thing is in pretty good shape. If you have questions just let me know and I’ll do my best to get you answers.”
This photo makes it clear that the US was aware of the use of Chinese as “Comfort Women” early on in the war.
“1941 Press Photo Burma Cpl L Gallagher of Britain with prisoners in his jeep. This is an original press photo. Burma With prisoners captured by British and Indian troops in south east Asia Command in Burma’s Wenwegon area along Toungoo Pegu road were Chinese girls taken into captivity at Canton and forced to act as comfort corps to Japanese soldiers.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
Body looks pretty good.
“I Have a 1943 Ford Gpw jeep. Ready for restoration. Vin number is 157845. It has a good running GPW motor. Motor vin is 99250. The transmission was changed to a T-90 at some time but it is bad (rusty inside). It still has original F-script axle assemblies and springs. Has an F-script drivers seat frame. Windshield will need new glass. The body has the usual rust issues. On the back of the body someone put new sheet metal over the body and extended it down over the rear cross member. It has 4 civilian rims with tires that hold air but are dry and cracked. Does not have a fuel tank or grill. It does not have a title but I ran the vin through MVD and it has never been registered or titled so it will be simple to get a bonded title. Or use it for parts.”
