Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1967 jeep cj6 ,225 c.i. ,3.73 gears, 3 spd., all orig. except exterior repaint 5 yrs, cast as amovie extra in film to be released this fall, American Hustle with many hollywood A listers! When i talked to second owner he claims it was delivered to a dealership in belgrade maine the way you see it now except for ext. repaint.The interior and suspension, driveline are Commando! Much smoother ride because the commando has the extra long rear leafs,drives like a car.

1943 Willys Overland MB Jeep. Looks like it just drove off the battlefield. Complete WWII historical vehicle with all the canvas and tools, to include tire pump, engine hand crank and shovel with axe. Jeep was frame-off restored in 2004 with mostly new old stock parts. Runs great.
Also included is an extra Willys Go-Devil engine with water pump and oil pan.”

These look in good shape. It’s rare to find them with the Armstrong logo. Those sand tires to the left are pretty vintage, too.
