UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
This looks solid.
“At 65 yrs of age, this one certainly qualifies as an antique. It has a new top, and a newly re-built flat head 4 cyl engine w/ 3spd transmission. You really need to see this one.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000
Needs work, but runs.
“1944 WILLY JEEP W/Registration. Of course Needs Work ! Runs, New tires and Tailgate.”
UPDATE: Was $2500. **SOLD**
“1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A
This Willys is setting on an original L134 drive train. It has been lifted and has P225/75R-15 tires in good condition (no spare). The Jeep runs and moves down the road, even the brakes work, but it still has repair issues. This is a project Jeep. It would make an excellent addition to a hunting lease or ranch/farm.
The body is in servicable condition. The front fenders and body have some rust-through but are still solid. It has been chopped up a bit by previous owners. It’s a Colorado Jeep so rust is minimal.
The engine runs strong with no smoking. It has a new 12V starter, new fuel pump, new fuel filter and new Solex carburetor. The distributor has been replaced recently by a previous owner. The drive train has also been worked on recently, the transmission and transfer case and drive shafts appear rebuilt, and a heavy duty shackle lift has been installed. Lock-out hubs are installed but are mismatched.
Electrical system is serviceable. All gauges appeared to work except the temperature. The speedometer is not hooked up.
The tow bar is substantial and has a built-in storage box between the frame rails. There’s also twin 2-liter jerry cans that mount on the tow bar.
The soft top is in good condition. There is a full-cage roll bar installed.
Repair issues:
1. The ignition key is lost. A replacement ignition is included.
2. The fuel tank needs to be flushed or replaced. Which requires removing the seats, which is…
3. Someone installed over-stuffed sedan seats and a small diameter steering wheel. The problem is the home-built seat frames have been welded to the body. You have to chop out the drivers seat in order to get the fuel tank out. It needs different seating anyway.
4. Needs choke and throttle cables installed (included).
5. Ross steering box needs to be rebuilt or replaced. Which means getting the steering wheel off. I was afraid to look at that. The Willys steers okay for off-road use, it just won’t last too long. I will even throw in a used replacement.
6. Front shocks need to be installed (included).
7. Skid plate is missing.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $850.

Mark has posted this over at jeeptruck.com.
“I’m in need of some help with a Jeep Truck my Grandpa left me. He has had this truck in his garage for 40 plus years and it was left to me when he passed away. I don’t know much about it other than I would like to sell it to someone who would appreciate it.
The truck does not have the original motor. It is a Ford 289 engine with a manual transmission.
The body is very nice and rust free. It has glass in the windows but it is very hazy. It has door panels and seats.
Please note there is no title for this Jeep Truck. $2500

(11/24/2010) This appears to be solid, though the plate on the driver’s side might be hiding something.
