“1946 Jeep Willies. Has been sitting, needs a little TLC”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200
It runs but isn’t quite ‘street-able’; I’m not sure if that is a handling issue or street-legal issue.
“This is a running driving Willys with a clean title. All the lights including blinkers work, and this vehicle is very close to being street-able. I converted this to run a chevy 4.3 v-6. It was rebuilt 5 years with new marine vortec heads and edelbrock conversion intake and carb. I used a adapter plate with a brand new input gear to use the a original Willys trans and transfer-case. I have had this in the mud once and it worked out great. Could use a lager radiator but is not needed. It comes with extra parts like windshield frame, a good hood, axles, more transmissions and transfer cases, a aluminum half cab, a custom full roll cage, and several other parts. The body has had work done to it in the past and the paint is flaking off. The jeep is overall solid and would make a good project or toy as is.”
This is a Willys Jeep that was assembled from parts and pieces in the early 1960’s by Joe Ferrero and used as a Shriner’s parade vehicle through the early 1990’s. It appears to be a DJ-3A.
They acquired the Willys needing repair. With a minor ressurection – this vehicle is functioning as a parade vehicle. Features include all the bells and whistles (literally), a squirting telephone, bottle openers, and a keg that is accessible through the side of the vehicle.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800
If some detail work was done, this could look pretty cool. Truck sold separately.
“!959 Willys Jeep Stationwagon 4X4
Project I bought but can no longer afford.
This is a really good custom with extreem potential.
The top has a 4″ chop, a nice straight job.
Dual wheels out the back is a gmc 1 ton truck axle.
Does not have motor or transmission, set up for small block Chev.
I also have a doner Gmc Jimmy 4X4 with running motor and autotrans, and
frame that is 4″ longer than Willys frame. The gmc offers better brakes.
This is an intense project, but could be great rat rod, or ratrod custom.
My loss your gain. I have over $3000. invested
Asking $1800 for the wagon and $700 for the jimmy”
A 1940s DJ?
“One 1946 Willys CJ2A runs and drives great ready to go with an 8,000 lb. Ramsey winch and new tires. This is a rare Jeep with column shift and all numbers matching, all tags in place. Four wheel drive, low and high range all work. Everything on the Jeep works but the speedometer.
One 1948 CJ2A tub, chassis, motor and all drive train except axles which I have and go with jeep so this is a complete Jeep.
One 1940’s CJ2A tub, chassis, and all drive line except motor which I have and goes with Jeep so this is a complete Jeep.
One 1955 CJ3B complete Jeep.
One 1940’s CJ2A tub, chassis and drive train everything for another complete Jeep except motor.
One 1940’s DJ2A tub in great shape, this is a rare tub for a DJ because its left hand steer. Several extra frames, grills, fenders, tires and wheels, engine parts, manuals, etc. more parts than the pictures show. Everything goes as a package deal, I will not sell separate.
If you are a Jeep person or want a great project vehicle this is a great deal. All could be sold separate or parted out for more money on ebay or something but I don’t want the hassle. I am getting out of the Jeep business. I built the first one over 15 years ago and it was rougher than the rest in this package. I will be glad to answer any questions and send you more pictures but please, serious buyers only. 251-721-5100”

“Owner is mechanically challenged and unable to give it the love and attention it truly deserves.
1946 CJ2A Willy Classic Flat Fender Jeep
It has a Buick 231 V6, Dual Exhaust, Dana 44 Posi rear, Dana 27 Posi front, Warn Winch, Dual Batteries (one new), Power Steering, Power Brakes, Lifted aprox. 4 in, off set wheels, 32″ tires in great shape (can handle 33’s) ,Rear Tire/Can rack, tow bar, bikini top and full soft top with doors all included! There is not any noticeable rust and the body is straight. Needs a new fuel pump or filter and the paint on the hood is crackled and peeling so it could use a nice paint job. It starts and runs for a few minutes, and then it stalls out. It has always been a reliable ride and I just can’t afford to take care of it the way it needs. Clean title in hand, street legal, tags good until April 2012.
Please do not respond to this ad if you are going to just come out and kick the tires and make a low ball offer. I want to sell it but am in no rush. I know that this is a fair price in today’s market.
The first $3,400.00 cash takes this fun 4X4!!!
Please email for appointment to view and for further information. I will be checking my email as often as I can. I will respond to all inquiries, please be patient as I have limited access to email during work hours. Thank you for your interest!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200
