(07/06/2011) It runs and drives.
“231ci even fire V6, three speed manual with hydraulic clutch. Has disc brakes front and rear. Locked front and rear as well.Warn hubs on the front. Sitting on a mismatched set of 35″ BFGs. Runs and drives.
It is registered as a 44 Ford jeep. Has a CJ grill and windshield frame on it though. Its definitely not the nicest flatfender around. Would make a great trail rig with little little work. Or could be made nice with a lot of work. One would have to be mad at themselves to want to restore this to original, pristine condition, but I have seen worse turned into better. I bought this jeep to play around in the woods and drive it around town, but it has sat in my garage for a couple years basically untouched, so its time to get rid of it. It has collector plates on it as well.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500
” This jeep has been in the family since the early 80’s. My Dad then allowed some of his workers to use it for side jobs, etc. and it got in fairly rough shape. It underwent a very amateur redo (there is bondo in places) by one of his workers in order to give the guy some work.
It starts and runs fine, it does leak oil, brakes are fine (took forever to get those right) tires are good, etc. The oil leakage is somewhat minor, just needs some TLC and maybe a gasket kit. The windshield has cracks from being dropped when lowered.
Due to the creative use of the VW high back seats in the front, the gas tank is in back. Seat for passenger are from a bus. I have the title in hand; it is registered as an antique vehicle, but could just as easily be registered as a daily driver should you choose to. Missing little bits here and there, like turn signals on front. It has the original flat head four and drivetrain. Don’t let the little size fool you, I pulled a ton of jacked up big ole trucks out of the mud with it years back. These jeeps are quickly becoming unavailable due to rust, and people just scrapping them or not letting them go. This one is still in decent shape and mostly original.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200
This looks like a good price.
