Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale 1951 Willys CJ3A Jeep project to restore. Very complete late flatfender. Body has plenty of rust. But NOT welded up or wrecked on the front bumper frames or the rear bumper frame, hard to find in that condition. All serial and data plates present. Engine stuck, head off for inspection. As is, where is.”
I’m pretty sure not all the hard work has been done.

“I have a willys Jeep CJ2A made in 1946. This is a project that I do not have the time for any more. There is no BODY… It was rusted out and I got rid of it. I did keep the two front fenders, hood and wind shield. The engine ran when I brought it home two years ago. I have a title and all the data plates. Currently the jeep is not running. You will need to trailer it home. I have many parts in buckets. This is definitely a project or a parts jeep. The frame is in good shape and looks to be a converted military frame done at the factory. Has all original wheels. I will throw in a manual with all parts list, and diagrams. No Seats, Gas tank, etc… Remember this jeep is 65 years old. These are getting hard to find and this is a great deal for parts. Send an Email or text to 317 two8nine 09one0 Thanks!”

“i think its a 1948. theres a couple of rust spots but for its age i think its in good shape. not the original motor, i think its a chrysler v6. i dont have a title it was just in the barn when i bought the property. it runs pretty good, i plowed with it all winter. from what ive seen on the net there going for about $1400 but make me an offer and ill consider it.ill also take trade, im looking for a 60s or 70s ford or chevy truck but who knows might be interested in something else”
