Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1962 M-170 Frontline Ambulance Willys Jeep for Sale. F-Head engine put in about 20 years ago. Needs lots of restoring and a good home. All extra parts go with it – not sure if all are useful. Pictures are attached. Pictures of extra parts can be sent. Will entertain a fair price with someone who is really interested in this as a project. Purchased in July 1979 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Have had ever since.”

(11/09/2010) There have been some changes to this DJ. The driver’s side appears to have a variety of dings, too.

(03/08/2011) This appears pretty stock. It has a 1962 Buick Skylark Engine.

There’s been a variety of mods to this jeep.
