“1953 WILLYS, 4×4 M38-A1 MILITARY JEEP.  VERY RARE “ARCTIC” JEEP “this is what i know”. ORIGINAL MILITARY METAL REMOVABLE HARD TOP. used by Military, Civil Defense and Sheriff. ORIGINAL FACTORY 4 CYL ENGINE WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION. CORRECT MILITARY POWER BRAKES. 136,173 MILES.  RUNNING WHEN PLACED IN STORAGE. TIRES COULD BE BETTER. NO UNDER RUST. ALL GLASS IS INTACT.  TRANSMISSION WAS SHIFTING FINE AND NO LEAKS. NEEDS SOME TLC TO GET BACK IN SHAPE AGAIN.  CLASSIC VINTAGE AND TIMELESS – RARE JEEP.  THIS IS THE REAL THING. (09/27/2010) “I have a 1947 CJ 2A. it is a project vehicle I just havent been able to start on let alone finish. Body is relatively solid, its all there, included in the deal is Dana 27 front 3.73 gears, Dana 44 rear 3.73 gears, NP 435 4spd (from Ford half ton 2wd) all jeep wheels that fit it. Pics available soon. But needed to post this to start the process.”

(03/09/2011) Here’s a parts jeep.

“1948 Willys cj2a includes tub, frame, some steering gear, gas tank, gauges, pedals, brakes and some other pieces. Has a front bull bars and a rear bumper with tow hitch. Tub is straight, firewall and floors are good, bottoms past rear of door need repair. Frame is solid apart from stress crack near front spring- usual place for these from offroad use. Its been on road and used till recently. Axles and wheels/tires not included and no tranny/transfer case. Pictures are older ones but condition is the same.  Selling as one piece – $550”

Hotchkiss M201 ENTAC at Musee Des Blindes, Saumur, France

According to the M201.com website, in 2009 the Musee Des Blindes in Saumur, France, unveiled a Hotchkiss M201 ENTAC.  I do not remember ever seeing one of these.

As far as I can tell, this M201 is the only jeep at this particular museum.  These first and last pics are from this page on the M201 website.  The 2nd pic was on Flicker and taken by Massimo Foti.
