This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1958 to 1963 Jipe DKW-Vemag Candango What you see is what you get. Fairly nice condition. Gauges will need to be replaced or rebuilt.One storage compartment door is missing, motor is missing and seats are missing. Has only surface rust, not rotted. Vehicle has sat on ranch for years. Has no title. I will sign any paperwork and bill of sale to assist in reregistering. ”

“Up for sale is a 1947 Willys Jeep wagon.It a 2 wheel drive and for the most part is complete.I think it has a newer F Head 4 cyl. like from a 50`s jeep not sure(see pix).Car need full resto but very rare now days.Lots of guys are dropping the bodys on S-10 frames and making nice rod out of them.$2000.00 or best offer,parts are worth the asking price.Clear Jersey title in my name and data plate is still on the body.”

(02/10/2011) Nice Jeep, but no WWII history here.
“Own a piece of WWII history with a slight twist. 1948 Willys Jeep, very healthy 283 / automatic, crawling suspension, Trans cooler, Headers and 650 Holley, Large Mickey’s great for snow plowing. I have a snow plow to match that can be purchased. Jeep can be sold without plow only, not plow without jeep.”

(08/31/2009) It’s got some brake problems and sounds like a project.
“II have a 51 Willys. I have owned it for around 4 years and just have not got around to fixing it up like I would like. It has been under cover the whole time I have owned it to save it from the rust. I started on cleaning up the body, I grinded it down to metal on most parts and and sprayed rust fix and primer on it to help it. The inside has mostly surface rust but the floor board on the driver side will need replaced at some point. I put new intake mainifold, valve covers, fuel pump, and rebuilt the carb. The picture I have does not have the carb on the engine, but it is on now. I have an extra hood and fender. It does have stock axles under it. Like I said it has been awile since I have done anything with it. If you have any questions shoot me an email, text, or phone call. I’m asking 2500,”
