This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s an early ’46, but has been modified.
“1946 Jeep with 327 small block Corvette engine. Also has Chevy transmission with granny low gears. Has recently apholstered seats and driver side slightly modified to fit taller person. I got this to have a fun toy up at the property but just dont have the time to mess with it now. Perfect project for anyone who wants one of the first four wheelers ever made! (01/14/2011) This is suppose to have very light rust.
“jeep body is really good for age. the floors are solid and dont have much rust on the body for the age either. the top is still good also. the plow and everything work great. the motor is a 4cyl which runs good but knocks so it will need to be rebuilt. the trans is a manule trans 4×4. tires are good and frame is good as well. i may trade this jeep for something else like a nice truck or something else that might catch my eye. i just dont want anything that i have to work on thats why im selling this. call me at 304=788=6165. just ask if you have a trade or 2000 cash takes this jeep home. these jeeps are getting hard to find in this kind of shape. thanks for looking”

“1946 Willys Jeep. This is a rare early # column shift jeep. This Jeep was rebuilt in the 80’s and still shows good. I have all service records from 1980 to today. It was also converted to 12V. and it has 33″ tires side bars and roll bar. Truck Runs good but needs the following to be put on the road. Brake work. 1 windshield glass. Rear springs. Exhaust. I have a set of springs I will throw in and also a brand new full exhaust system still in the box. Please call and feel free to come take a look. 860-301-9707. Thank you.”
