UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.

I’m thinking this might be a M-38?  I think I see tool indents on the passenger side.  Those tires are pretty worn.

“Selling a original 1946 Jeep Willy that runs and drives for $5,000.00. Only modifications is it has been converted to 12 volt. Almost all parts are new only thing that needs work is the rocker panels and floor boards are rusted.”

1948 CJ-2A Englewood, Fl **Status Unknown**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Last priced at $9500.

The Jeep looks nice enough, but let me remind potential buyers that 1. VE day was in May of 1945 and VJ day was in August of 1945; 2. 1948 comes after 1945 (umm .. this is self-evident, yes?); and 3., by the transitive mathematical property, this jeep, contrary to the seller’s claim, could not have played a role in WWII because it ended in 1945 and the jeep was produced in 1948.

“1948 Willys Jeep for sale!!! This car is in excellent condition and is a wonderful item for anyone who loves antique vehicles or wartime collectibles. This was used in WW2, but the engine has been replaced entirely, so its not just a lawn ornament. You can cruise town in this Willys. It is equipped with the canvas cover. Please contact me if you are interested. I’d love to show you the car or send you more pictures. Also, email me for more information on the vehicle; I’d be happy to answer your questions.”
