These images of maneuvers out of Fort Riley, Kansas, are some of the most calvary-like jeep pics I think I’ve seen. I suppose the older army cavalry hats contribute to that, too. These are all shot by photographer Jack Delano and hosted at the Library of Congress.

“This is a 1951 Willys UT Jeep. The body is complete and in good condition. The floor pans on the inside have rust. All of the gauges work. The engine is a L Head 4 cy. Transmission is a 3sp with hi/low transfer case 4wd. This jeep runs and drives great. I have owned this jeep for about 5 years. During that time I have had several people wanting to buy it. I purchased it with the intention of restoring it. Realizing that I just don’t have the time, I’ve decided to sell it. Also the title is free and clear.”
