This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This might make a good project. The scatter shield sititng in the jeep is worth a couple hundred dollars.

“For Sale: 1948 Willys Jeep. Flat top 4 cylinder – 3 speed. Less than 53,000 miles, tires are fair, new battery, top is about 2 yrs old, runs good. If you’re looking for a restoration project or a hunting vehicle this is a prime candidate! Asking $5,000. This is not a restored jeep but is not junk either! Message me if interested.”

Parts or project.
“Selling this Willys CJ2A Jeep for parts or restoration. It is missing parts but may be a good start on a WWll Jeep project. Look at the photos and ask any questions. There is no title and rarely is on old jeeps. It will come as is . . I just don’t have time for it. It’s not running but rolls freely. Someone put a v-6 in it but the trans is original. I know very little else about it. Thanks for looking.”
