This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Hard to find 1950 Willy’s CJ-3A with soft top and tail gate. Has a manual transmission and a rebuilt motor. Would make an excellent project. Asking $4000 OBO.”
This looks to be a mix of 2A, M-38 and other parts.

“Two projects. One 1947 CJ2A mostly original. Reproduction windshield frame, Tiger top, 10,500lb winch, two sets of wheels and tires. Runs and drives. Extra transmission.
Second jeep is a disassembled 1952 CJ3A with an M38A1 frame. 2001 4.3v6 from a manual Silverado. SM 465 transmission with Novak short shaft kit. Warn overdrive from Herm. Dana 18 transfer case. New CJ5 tank. New CJ5 leaf springs (2-1/2” lift) stock axles. Parts list goes on. Prefer to sell everything as a package but may consider piecing out. Lowball offers will be ignored.”

“1940 something Willy’s complete drivetrain motor and tranny stuck.frame appears to be good.no leaks in radiator because I just drained out antifreeze.had a m 38 body on it that was no good so I removed it.I was told it is a mix and match of different Willy’s so I am not really sure what it is.”
