This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 CJ 3A Willy’s Jeep with Plow. Have had it running. Interior is good. Plow is hydraulic up and down. Motor is a Hurricane 4 cycle, 4 Speed transmission. Has been stored inside. Asking 2500.00 or best offer.”

“This CJ-3A was found in Colorado and towed to Wrightwood where it was purchased in 2001.
It had been hand painted and decorated with a brush. Although it still ran it was very very tired.
With the help and guidance of the most recent owner (Vietnam Vet), there was a frame off restoration done!
Along with a completely rebuilt engine and transmission, the body was removed and straightened piece by piece.
51 years of dirt and grease were removed from the frame and repainted.
This Jeep was put back together just in time in 2003 for the Wrightwood Car Show.
Today this Little Flattie is completely original. All of the gauges have been replaced with original equipment.
The electrical system has been rewired to original specifications.
Except for the 15-inch rims that replaced the original 16 inch, this is what it looked like
on the show room floor in 1950.”
It’s labeled as a 1967, so it could be built on a CJ-5 chassis.
