This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Many modifications: steering box, Buick V6 engine, dash, wipers, heater, lights, gas tank moved between frame at back with latching cap, swing out jerry can and spare tire assembly, lock out hubs. Transmission and drive lines rebuilt as well as new master cylinder. Everything works. Have soft top that needs window repairs, no doors. Also have a bikini top. Pete’s got this 3A trencher for sale.
“1950 willys jeep cj3a. With. A jeep a trench trencher on the back jeep runs well moves drives. Will need typiCal brakes redone. Needs all tires Has good matching title. Will need a new rear pto belt drive gear box I hAve the old one. But the cast is cracked and apart. For many years I think if b you knew a good welder that weld cast iron. And a machinest that can make a new gear or a set of Small gears you may be able to rebuild the gear box you c a new find used one I have guy th at will be getting one. In the next few weeks the body is not rusted out no floor patchs at all had its dents etc. Will post pics hopefully Sunday 1 29. Don’t wait may put on ebay soon. (03/13/2017) Likely needs new tires.
“1950 CJ3A Willys Jeep
Rebuilt in the 80’s and modified with a Ford 289 engine.
Engine runs well, but could use a carb rebuild. 120 average compression; 49-50 psi oil pressure.
The rest of the drivetrain was rebuilt, but is original.
No noises from axles, transmission, and transfer case. All function fine. Four wheel drive is perfect.
Clutch works fine, brakes work but could use attention on the front passenger side.
Tires will leak air after a few days.
6782 miles since rebuilt, always stored inside.
Speedometer, oil pressure, fuel, amps and temp gauges all work.
Paint was never perfect, and there is some small rust staring to show.
Very fun Jeep!”
