Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (07/20/2015). The serial number of 10882 falls within the first and last CJV-35U (#10883 was a CJ-V35U).

Seller has listed this as a 1943, but it looks more like a CJ-3A or even a DJ (no gas inlet).

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
I’m not sure if there is much value or not.
“These two (2) old Willys jeeps are up for sale. One is, basically,complete but body is more rough than the 2nd one that has the radiator. The engine in the one without the radiator was rebuilt and had been used very little until a lady lost control and ran into an object to crush the radiator. We’re not sure of the model year but believe to have been built in the mid 1940s,”

Very nice basecoat/clearcoat paint with perfect body panels and hood. All grease fittings work and all suspension components operate freely. No frame cracks. Everything works, including the emergency brake. Vehicle runs very strong. Completely clean underneath and has not been offroad since a total rebuild. More pictures can be provided on request.”
