Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 CJ3A Willys Jeep. Hard original Konig top. This jeep has mechanically been gone through from top to bottom. Has locking hubs, newly upholstered original seats, great tires, 12,000 pound Ramsey Winch, and much more.”

The fenders and hood have been stretched to fit the DJ chassis.

(07/31/2015) Cool paint job. Looks like a solid rig.
“1950 Willys CJ3-a. This was just rebuilt 100% with under 400 miles on it. No rust on frame, fiberglass body and fenders (retained steel hood, grille, windshield frame, dash and cubby under passenger seat). Has low mileage Ford 302/5.0 from mid 90s pickup and t-10 4 speed transmission adapted to Spicer 18 t-case. All have all new seals and gaskets. Runs/shifts/drives great. Also did Saginaw steering box conversion up front. Fresh brakes all the way, etc. Like I said ALL NEW ALL THE WAY. Thinking around $6500, but open to any reasonable discussion on price.”

Comes with rear PTO and bed extender.
