Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1953 willys jeep almost completely restored. New engine trans trans case pretty much everything gone thru. Seals bearing etc. engine is new condition. Machined with new everything inside. Body is in good condition 4600 cash absolutely no trades or low offers. I am about to run out of time and I don’t want it to sit and ruin”
UPDATE: A reader noted this was for sale in Houston on eBay as of Apr 18th. Hard to believe someone shipped this to California for resale??
It’s rough. The seat design makes me think this used to be in Texas.

MOTOR-its powered by a AMC 304 V8 i dont not know the specs, but when she hooks up it’ll pop the front end no problem.

TRANSFER CASE – twin stick spicer 18
axles- 1969 wagoneer axles front dana 44 rear dana 44 3.73 gears and 27 spline shafts (the front is still the original dana 20 but the 44 comes with. )
