The seller does make some unusual claims . . . I think the ORIGINAL fiberglass fenders might just be my favorite comment. Though, his claim that you are buying a running vehicle that doesn’t run is a close second.

“Here is a 1951 CJ2A SUPER RARE FIND Jeep Wrangler. It has a V8. The Jeep has Minimal rust as it was in storage for MANNNNNYYYYY Years. It has fiberglass hood & flatfenders (original to this model). The Jeep has all the seating and is black interior. Comes with a bikini top only and no doors…(as they were not factory to this era (Korean War era). I have owned it only a short time and just don’t have the time or money to put into it. I have never started or turned it over but last owner swore up and down he drove it all the time and runs fine. The U bolts need replaced on the front end ( I HAVE NEW). Jeep is metallic blue. I need the garage space so the build I planned to do has to go. Keep in mind EVERY thing you do to this HISTORICAL vehicle makes it worth more and more. “49-53 CJ-3A.
Runs, however I have Carb and Fuel Tank off of it right now. I drove it on the trailer when I purchased it. Had an improper Rochester Carb on it that was leaking on the manifold. Have a brand new Solex Carb ready to put on and a brand new aluminum fuel tank. Thought I would be able to get it going, but I do not have the time, know how and space to get it done. Tired of it sitting and taking up space. Has new plugs, wires, spark plugs and electronic distributor, I’ll throw in, not mounted yet. Nice little Jeep. Has a Nissan lockable steering column in it. Seats are really nice.Tires are A-1. Has somewhat rare Sears front hubs as I am told. 4×4 works.”

“Project – 1949 CJ3A. Stripped down to frame. Frame is epoxy coated. New wheels and tires. New springs, shocks, bushings, and front bumper. Have $2K invested and just looking to get my money back out of it. I have the title and it has an up to date registration. Body is subject to someone who knows how to do body work. Also, have new body mounting kit.

It’s a project.

“The project that never was. Cool old jeep, but I have no time for mechanicing. Bought off a guy a couple of years ago who had it setting out near Gateway Colorado for years. Has several coats of different paint, a cool Hard top, complete. Rear end locked up. Tire hold air for ten minutes…… Needs a Rock crawler, or a rebuilder for a new owner.
