This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5800
“Oldie but goodie. This old willys has been worked on and alot replaced or rebuilt. Two years ago the transmission, transfer case and rearend rebuilt. The wiring was shot so I put in complete new harness. The steering box was rebuilt along with all new brakes, wheel cyclinders and new master cyclinder. The 5 tires are new with low mileage. The top was new two years ago. The doors come off and the sides roll up. The suspension, leafs and shocks are new. Starts every time and has a tow bar on front for towing long distance. If you want a dependable and go anywhere Willys, this is the one you would want. Will consider all reasonable offers or would trade for Manx, VW, in good running condition.”

This CJ-3A was recently painted with a bed liner. It used to look like this.

– Double gas tank under seats, plus new regular gas tank

– @1963 Studebaker 6-cylinder (runs hot despite oversize radiator)
– Stock L-head 4-cyinder engine out of car (probably needs rebuild)
– Stock 3-speed manual with stock 4WD
– Modified grill to accommodate radiator moved up for longer engine/have stock radiator and grill
– New windshield (single rather than split)
– Tow bar on front
