This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I’m selling my 1950 Willys CJ-3a, it was my first car and daily driver for 15 years, but now I think it’s time to move on.
Much of the drivetrain has been rebuilt, but it has taken a beating from years of off-roading and daily driving, so it’ll need some work. It has a 30% overdrive from Herm the overdrive guy, which can get you comfortably to about 60-65mph (I don’t recommend driving it on the freeway though). Has new powder coated steel wheels and NDT’s. New transfercase, windshield, seats & upholstery, gauges, comes with lots of spare parts, manuals, etc…
The body is in OK condition, but has thick Bondo in a few places, my friend peeled away the Bondo on the rear right wheel well where the spare used to be. Most of the photos aren’t super recent, so if there’s anything you’d like a photo of in particular let me know and I can send you a fresh photo, or if you’d like to come take a look at it you can contact me at the number in the listing (no texts please). I like people to know what they are getting when I sell, so I’ll do my best to let you know of any problems or particularities that it has.
