UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4900.
(04/21/2014) The seller lists this as a 1952, but the Navy tag indicates this is a 1953. The yellow on the dash reminds me of the APU jeep color. Canoe is included.
“Mostly original U.S. Navy Willy’s Overland Jeep, loaded. Original, rebuilt Willys motor w/most all of its original parts. Runs good and quiet, doesn’t smoke. Authentic PTO winch (Great condition). Warren Overdrive. Period style hardtop and doors (Not bolted down). Extremely rare, original heater (Pictured). Original gauges that mostly work. Original seats need upholstered. Rear dual gas can/spare tire carrier (Not pictured & no cans included). Fold down windshield that pops out while its up, also (Really cool).
Accessories:
Expensive leaf spring set-up that gave it a 3″ lift. Roll bar. Newer shocks. Brand new BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires. Older Chrome rims. Old wood frame CANOE IS INCLUDED for the full price.”
I thought we’d seen this one previously. It uses a latch system to secure the tail gate. Looks like a good build.

Could be made into a racer, too. Buckshots in the front and Desert Dogs on the back.
“I’m selling my ’49 Willys Bobtail Jeep. This is a Great Trail Jeep or Mudder or Rock Crawler or Whatever. It wouldn’t take much at all to make this a running driving jeep…. all that it needs is some brake work and possibly a carb. rebuild but otherwise complete and ready to go. It has the Stock 134F head 4Cyl. Engine , T90 3Spd. Transmission , Model 18 2 stick transfer case, Model 27 front axle and Model 44 rear axle both with 5.38 gears. Racing buckets with harnesses, Rear mounted 10 Gallon fuel cell and battery. It has a nicely built cage with rear mounted spare tire carrier. It has a 3″ suspension lift and comes with a pretty nice set of Radial Buckshots on White Spokes. We aren’t driving it much anymore and have kinda lost interest.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500

“VINTAGE ***1951***WILLYS JEEP
If you are looking for a Jeep that is mechanically sound, dependable and a lot of fun this may be it. Is mostly original except it is painted and has decals as a military jeep just for fun. The seats were recovered by the previous owner. The vehicle is for fun and for farm or ranch or a hunting lease use. And, it is EMP proof.
New body. Still a project.
“Brand new willys overland body , on 71 v6 cj5 drivetrain, almost complete”
This jeep appears to have a replacement body. I like the hardtop/doors setup. I don’t recognize it.
“I have a 1953 Willys Jeep with a snow plow for sale. Fiberglass top, roll bar, lock out hubs, engine heater, 2000cc Ford motor. Three speed with high and low gears plus power take off. Used it this winter to push the snow”
Base on the motor and the year, I suspect this is a CJ-3A with a 3B body.
“1950 Willys Jeep: Good bones minimal rust, mechanically sound with original engine however previous owners may have used expired poultry to apply top coat paint. If you are a latte drinking hipster lacking calluses on your hands this vehicle may not be for you. This vehicle is for the guy who has shotgun shells in his dungaree pockets, dirt under his finger nails and may associate the term drive through dinner to the bugs collected in his teeth in route to a destination.
New items include: tires, hoses, 12 v system, alternator, gages, seats, steering wheel w/integrated horn, exhaust, turn indicators, shocks, brakes, etc.”
