This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (07/26/2013) It runs and drives.
“this jeep has an overhead cam engine from a cj3b with around 3000 miles on it. Transmission gears, bearings and syncros, clutch, brakes, master cylinder and hubs have been gone through. Tub has been sanded then rhino lined. The only downfall is there is no top on it. Great summer vehicle or purchase the soft top online. Has been garaged for the last 30+ years. 2900 is a firm price.”

This fiberglass bodied jeep has a few mods and includes a Warn OD.

“1949 Willys CJ3a. $5500 obo. Boxed in frame. Replaced floor. Modified gas tank. Buick 231 v6 motor, t-10 transmission. Original transfer case. Dana 44 w/positraction rear end. I also have the original back seat. The only reason I’m selling this is to prevent the house from going back to the bank. If interested please email and I can call ya if the interested individual wants, or respond, of coarse. I seem to be lacking my own phone right now.”

Some parts of the body were fixed with fiberglass.
“If you are looking for a Jeep that is mechanically sound, dependable and a lot of fun this may be it. Is mostly original except it is painted and has decals as a military jeep just for fun. The seats were recovered by the previous owner. The vehicle is for fun and for farm or ranch or a hunting lease use. And, it is EMP proof.

(09/13/2013) It’s mostly stock with a M-38 windshield. Might be worth a look.
