This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 Willys CJ2A – Pretty Much original except possibly tub/tailgate. Appears little if any rust. Runs and drives, could use some wiring. Newer battery and tires. Nice Jeep.”

This has some unusual mods. I can’t remember ever seeing that brand of tires.

This has a MB motor.
“1950 Willy’s CJ3A (ID#39632). This jeep has its org. military engine #MB 555504. She runs and is in very good shape. I also have the factory steel top and doors for this unit. I’m asking $3400 or might be willing to trade for a front console aluminum fishing boat. Location is in Lakeport, CA.”

“1948 Willys CJ3A Jeep. Restored to original specs. Rebuilt original motor, transmission, carb. fuel pump and brakes. New wiring harness. 6 volt electrical swystem. Painted Luzon Red with the correct stencils. Power take-off 8,000# Koenig winch. New military style tires. This is a Jeep that brings smiles to peoples’ faces. Clean California Title.”

“1949 Willys Jeep. The jeep is solid and virtually rust free especially compared to other models of this year. the passenger seat is not shown in the pictures but I have it. You will need to hook up the front brakes, get a front drive shaft, and find a rear brake light cover. Other than that everything is strong and it cranks up and drives every time. This is not your everyday CJ or Wrangler Jeep. Make me a reasonable offer.
I have a hitch that can be hooked up to the front to be towed.”

The engine runs.
“1952 Willys CJ-3A “JEEP” This is a running and driving project. The body is rough. This is a good candidate for a restoration. The odometer shows 75188. I have no idea what the total mileage is. It starts up and runs great. The float in the carb hangs up once in a while, so the carb will need rebuild. The electrical system was converted to 12 volt. It has a brand new battery. The electrical system will need some minor work. I have restored several of these great old trucks. I just do not have the time to do this one. With a little work it could be on the road as a “RAT ROD” I have a Maryland transferable title for this truck.”
This appears solid. I’ve never seen bucket seats installed that way.

“I have an old Willys Jeep for sale. I bought it about 10 years ago, with intentions of making a fun little project. Now, this much time later, I have realized that it is time to go. It did runs, as I drove it around my yard, even as of a couple years ago. The brakes are inop. It has no interior. It is definitely a project, but it has potential. No trades”
