“Runs drives and stops, needs a little tinkering to be great. 1951 willys jeep, new carb, new master cylinder, new winshield, new steel spare,new fuel pump, new manifold gasket, good tires, good paint, turn signals, guages work, gas tank repaired, 8000# warn winch, good seats, also have fleece seat covers in the package. no toop or doors tranny slips out in 3rd when you let off gas, needs shift fork adjusted. $4000.00 no tire kickers or BS.”

I don’t exactly know why this turned up in my search today, but what the heck. I’ll post anyway. It is supposed to be Jewel Stainless, too. At least one conversion calculator puts the price of this at around $2400.

“1953 flat fender willys jeep # 453 GB1. Clear title. Jeep hasn’t been driven in many years but it ran when parked in covered carport. The starter disengages as soon as it tries to start like the starter solenoid needs to be replaced. It needs a battery also. Clear title in hand.

(12/26/2011) At some point this needed a rear seal. Unclear if it still does. This has the aftermarket angled dash I’ve only seen in some customized california jeeps.
