(02/14/2012) I thought this was unusual.
“1948 Willys CJ-2A for sale. Does not run. Was told by previous owner that it ran when he parked it 4 years ago. The frame has been cut and extended, and the back made into a pickup. Got it for a project and never had time for it. Make me an offer!

UPDATE: Price now $3497
(01/28/2012) This is listed as a CJ-2A and it has a ‘2A windshield, but I suspect it is a CJ-3A.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Make Offer.
“Willys Jeep CJ-My old 4×4 jeep needs a home with someone that has the time to keep her going. She needs a lot of work and tires and paint but was running when I last started her several years back.
This is the kinda project you can get going and take through the brush without worrying about scratches or dings…it ain’t pretty…it’s a ranch/hunting lease tool.
It’s a project…not something you can take and drive…you’ll have to do some work first. I don’t have the time to keep rebuilding the original carb with it’s leather accelerator pump diaphragm…a smart rebuilder would probably just put a newer carb on it. Needs brakes, seats(frames are there), tires, TLC.
lowballers…forget it…I don’t have to sell…just thought someone else might like a neat toy to play with since I don’t use it any longer.
Will considered trading for semi-auto-legal-modern firearms or real-“Damascus steel/handmade”-samurai swords…partial trades considered ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
This is ready for hunting.
“1949 Jeep Willys, 4wd works great. 4cyl flat head engine starts 1st crank every time. Man Transmission. Fog Lights. Front Bumper Mount Seats. Rear Removable Rack Warn Winch. BV Remote Control Bumper Feeder. Gun Mounts/Holders. 2 Batteries (one fro engine, one for accessories), Tires near new. This is an excellent dependable ranch/hunting jeep. Call or email for more information or pics or to schedule a test drive.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,500
(09/11/2011) This jeep certainly looks nice, but I can see nothing to suggest this is a 1945 CJ-2A. To me it looks like it might be a CJ-3A, but maybe the frame is from a ’45.
“This is a 1945 Willys CJ-2A World War II vehicle with the 4-cylinder gas engine and a 3-speed manual transmission. It was restored about fifteen years ago and has been under boxes in my mother-in-laws garage since. She has driven it maybe 50 miles a summer though has religously started it a couple times a month. The engine puts out 60 horsepower and this Willys weighs about 2200 pounds. It starts right up and drives nice. It does have turn signals and is street legal. 4-wheel drive works and it gets lots of attention everywhere it goes. It is a 2A but does have a 3A windshield. Has original owner’s manual. $13,500”
Hard to see much from the pics. Either that body has been cut or it is an early prototype body of some type (I would guess the former).
“1950’s Jeep Willys CJ3A Serious Offers ONLY!

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
It needs a little work, but looks pretty solid. Instead of wood blocks on the hood, it has some unusual things attached to the hood (what do I call them?).
