Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This Jeep had an off the frame complete restoration done. It has the original 4-cyclinder engine, new transmission, and a rebuilt transfer case. Also, has new brakes, hoses, springs arched, radiator, and carburetor. The original lights and horn are 12-volt. The Jeep does have lock-out hubs. Jeep is winter green with black interior seats. Jeep has the original working heater and metal Koenig top with doors. Jeep has approximately 300 miles on it since restoration. This Jeep is in excellent original condition with new tires and is ready to go”

“Got this Willy’s jeep from my brother several years ago with the dream of rebuilding it…… Well, wife says my time is up.
It was running right before I got it, just smoked a little so my brother took the engine out to rebuild it and that’s where this project has been for some time now. Engine is sitting inside the cab, tranny and driveline are still in. Everything seems to be original. Hate to see one of my dreams go, but reality seems to be taking over. Will dig the title out and find out if it is a 3a or 3b and what model year. $1200obo come take a look!”

Here’s a beautiful restoration.
“Up for auction: 1950 Willys CJ3A!
-Restored to look original with non-original parts. Most parts were purchased from Beachwood Canvas.
-New steel tub from Willys Overland
-New seat cushions/upholstery – New rear seat from CJ3A
-Restored odometer (reading 44K), oil pressure gauge, gas guage. I have the other gauges but they need to be restored, and have new guages in place for now.
-Original style cloth covered wiring harness.
-Original 6V system. Rebuilt generator, rebuilt starter. Electricals work very well.
-Original oil-bath air filter.
-New brakes, new brake lines, new master cylinder.
-New clutch.
-New exhaust
-New windshield, rubber new.
-Jeep starts great, runs and stops as it should, no problems.”

“1949 willy s jeep, motor was rebuilt 2 years ago but never installed , both axles also were rebuilt @ the same time . body work was stared but never got done, i do have clear title, will consider any reasonable offer”

“1968 Corvette/Chevelle 375HP 327. Two barrel carb advance adapter headers / flow master exhaust / D – slot mags 15 x 8. 31” 9.50 15 TSL radial swampers. Custom winch bumper built by Stainless Brain Fabrication. Custom rear bumper as well. 5.38 gears front and back. Detroit rear open front. Stock running gear all the way through. Center force clutch with cable kit up grade smitty built RC 8 winch with controller. There is bondo but no cancer very tight jeep for its age.
