(07/08/09) Here’s one for you Pittsburgh Steelers Fans!

“Very cool driver>>>>all original drive train and still runs like new. This is a good project or keep as is and use as a slow driver. No speed demon here as this was designed as a work horse with top speed around 50 mph. This is a good 20 footer and is a lot of fun. Take to Sand Lake and you can drive to town as this is what we used it for. Give me a call and we can make a deal as I am out of room. John @ 360 600-8213. Will deliver locally. It also comes with tow bar and you can Rat Rod it or make a cool Hot Rod too!

1953 CJ-3A Golden Valley, CA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-3A • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.

Note that the front end appears lengthened.  That looks to be a tilt  fiber glass front end, though I don’t remember seeing them looking that stretched. The body might be a M-38 body as I see some tool indents on the passenger side.  The front end has some warn hubs similar to what you’d see on a 70’s CJ-5.   This might be a pretty good deal and an interesting project.

“this is a 53 willys it runs great it has been converted to a 250 inline 6 so the front frame has been lengthend 6 inches , it has oringinal axles tranny and transfer case, i also have a bihimi top for it with doors, it runs super just looking for a cj5 or 7 1500 obo or trade for???”

I can’t tell whether this is a CJ-3A or M-38.  I *think* it’s a CJ-3A with a M-38 Gauge Dash.

The 1st Annual Rawhide Rumble Car Show & Swap Meet

• CATEGORIES: CJ-3A, FC150-FC170-M677, Website This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

In December of 2009, the ‘town’ of Rawhide held its 1st annual Car Show & Swap Meet.  Now, I’d never heard of Rawhide, so, after a few quick searches, I found and took a look at their website.  It turns out it is a tourist town full of events, eateries and things to do for kids and adults.

I learned about this event from a blog entry by Mr Greenwrench, about whom I know nothing except that he takes good pics and lots of them!  So, thank Mr. Greenwrench for the 3 Jeep images below — all three outstanding Jeeps!

Here is a photo of Jesse Ybarra’s M-667.  You can learn more about it at the FC-Connection website.

According to Dennis, this FC-150 belongs to Bill Thomson.

1949 CJ-3A Pollock Pines, CA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-3A • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Was $1200. **SOLD**

(12/30/09) I’d like to see some more pics of the custom paint job on this old school build.  No tranny, tc, seats or steering column.

“This is a one of a kind Jeep Willys with custom front fenders, flared rear fenders and a full cage row bar. It comes almost complete to get it back on the road again , it has all running gear except transmission/ transfer case and a steering column. We are including a running nice Buick v-6 motor. It has been garaged for 25 years so it is in great shape. Also it has been non-op through DMV so there is no extra fees to register. We must sell and will sell for $800 without the motor or $1,200 with, trades considered”
