I’m not sure why the seller wouldn’t wipe the leaves off the fender before taking the picture. The jeep looks pretty good.
“Runs good, 4×4 works, bucket seats, aluminum top, 4 cyl, 3 spd, in good shape…just needs some extra lov’n”

UPDATE: Price is $2500 for Friday (maybe the entire weekend?)
It might not be Redmond, but it’s located somewhere just east of Seattle. It looks like it has a SOA setup.

This jeep has a 30 front and 44 rear with posi and 4:10 gears. This is a great price. Where were these jeeps when I was looking a year and a half ago! The fenders have been lengthened, which explains the odd hood. I wonder if this is a later model frame.
“1949 Jeep Willys 4×4 CJ-2A flat fender. Body and frame in good-excellent shape with very minimal rust for the year. Roll bar installed with a fold down windshield and newer black jeep cj-7 seats. NO rear seat. Front axle is a Dana 30 with drum brakes with a Dana 44 rear. The rear axle has a positrac unit installed (not welded or Lincoln locked), 4.10 gears front and rear. The brakes for being drums work surprisingly well. The engine is an international scout v8 345 with a holley 2 barrel carb mated to a 3 speed manual transmission and a dana 20 twin stick tcase.”
I don’t see much that’s not stock on this early CJ-3A.
“1949 Willys Jeep. 6 volt system. Currently on East side. Best offer”
“1950 Willys Jeep. Competition ice racer. VERY FAST!! Fun street cruiser and show winner too. Must see to appreciate! Chevy 350 V8, TH350 auto trans. Spicer 20 t-case. D30 front with disk brakes. D44 rear, locked. Steel body, fiberglass, one piece, liftoff front end. Nothing but the best!
This looks to be in reasonable condition.

“This vehicle was purchased new by a California doctor who kept it on his ranch most of it’s life. I bought it in 2003. I believe the +/-56,000 is probably accurate. The only thing that is off of original is the seat belts and roll bar which I added. It has been repainted but is original color. The seats have been rebuilt and the top was replaced. Recently(early this year) I installed all new brake drums, shoes and cylinders, also new (less than 50 miles) Michelin tires.”
“running out of room at my shop and it needs to go. has all original drivetrain. has the overhead 4cyl. needs a hood, seats, and windshield frame. has good p78 buckshots on it.”
It looks like there’s been a few mods on this CJ-3A, so some type of posi or locker seems possible.
“1951 willy 4cj5jp reg-10/31/2009 has a v6 with 1000 miles, new wheel cyl and rebuilt master. needs tires and wheels but runs with the ones on it. lights are new but need to be wired. I think it has a posi rear because 1st and second leaves great dual tire marks. thanks Jeff sell_barter@yahoo.com”
It’s not worth $2500, as it doesn’t run. Might be worth a closer look if the price drops substantially.
“1949, dont know much about it bought at estate sale have orginal title dosent run, bodys in good shape. email or call 254-223-2737”
