Final Update:  Originally priced at $2800, the seller dropped the price to $1000, but changed the ad so that it was difficult to find.  Eventually, the seller made good on his claim and it was given to the Youth Ranch (I missed it by two days, otherwise I would have bought it for $1000).  I haven’t seen it since.

Not many specifics on this flattie.  I’m gonna bet this is a CJ-3A.  Looks pretty old school, especially those tires.  From this pic it appears the front springs are reversed.

The buy it now and beginning bid prices are a bit high.  There's been enough minor mods that this isn't a collector's piece (as suggested by the seller) either.  But, appears to be a solid jeep in good condition.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3200.

Either the tailgate has been patched or this jeep has a fiberglass body.  I can’t tell which from these pics.  The back part of the roll cage is somewhat unusual — at least I haven’t seen the bars organized quite like that before.

This jeep was listed back in January.  The builder put in a toyota drive train without dramatically modifying the normal flattie look.

This CJ-3a has a got a few updates, so it may not be a bad price for $2000.  The top looks in good condition as well.

“Take this jeep to the mountains for the summer! It has many upgrades: 12 volt battery, electric ignition, power steering, Buick V6 engine, upgraded brakes. This CJ-3A looks in great shape with straight fenders, hood and body.  

"It has the original flat head 4 cylinder engine and it runs great. Mileage is in excess of odometer limits. It has new wires, plugs and rebuild carburetor. I had the transmission rebuilt (new gears, bearings, bushings….the along with the brakes (great condition). Only 17k miles on this very stock CJ-3A.  Sherwood is southwest of Portland.  Seems a pretty good price.
