Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Nice little cj2a. Have been working on it but now priorities have changed. New water pump, break reservoir, points, plugs, rotor and cap and spark plug wires. Needs to hook a new fuel line from tank to fuel pump ( which also need replaced. the pump.). motor starts right up when you pour some gas into the carburetor. Great project if you want to restore or clean up and use as is. Mostly just surface rust. Only thru rust I’ve seen is in floorboard on passenger side, which has been plated under. If ad is up it’s available. CASH only and don’t need help selling and I’ve heard all the scams so don’t bother me with them.”
This has one fo the old aftermarket angled Flattie dashes, but it’s uncut.

Clean title on non op. 350 Chevy motor (not running), Real Muncie 4 speed trans with Hurst shifter, with Advance Adapter to model 18 transfer case, Dana 44 rear end with locker, model 25 front end with lockout hubs, power steering, fiberglass hood, bodywork complete, extra front and rear ends, and other extra parts.”
It’s unclear how solid this body is, given the diamond-plate in the back and a patch on the side.

“Rebuilt Buick 231 6cyl. even fire with less than 500 miles. The rebuild was 20 yrs ago and have all receipts. Three speed transmission with the 2 lever transfer case. New Rochester 2 barrel carb and plug wires. Motor runs perfect and is great for putting around in the country, For the street the jeep would require some attention.
Front bumper is plumbed into the radiator for additional water storage to prevent overheatings. Warn locking hubs and believe 538 gears. Have a 4 speed to go with it for extra $”

A parts/project.
1951 cj3a it has a Vin tag Great starter project. Front clip is off and have start on freshing up the motor. I put the front clip temporarily back on for sale. I also have a box of parts I’ll upload later.. anything that came off is in there as well as new parts. I have a spare Trans too. If you didn’t want to rebuild the old one. Sold separately.. bill of sale. 2000 firm not a penny less. Might take trade PLUS CASH”
This CJ-3A has a variety of updates. It includes a Bobcat fiberglass hood. You can see the front clip was extended to accommodate the longer frame.

“1953 Willys on a 1970 CJ frame. 350 small block. Lockers front and rear and trusses. Selectable front & rear. 20 gallon gas tank. This thing is bad ass and will climb a tree. It was built to wheel. It’s too much power for me to handle. Includes full soft top and set of mounted mud tires. I have a file 3″ thick on all the stuff that was done to it.”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $14,000.

Stainless Body and Components. No Rust
Original 4 cylinder “Go Devil Engine”, and transmission. I was told it was original and research to me says it is.
3 speed transmission. Just so you know, top speed is about 45-50 mph.
Solid frame with some surface rust. Was Restored in the late 70’s early 80’s.
Some New parts on Jeep and in boxes. I bought it for the potential and don’t have time or a place to store it. But I will if I have to.”
This looks like a good price. It appears to have a bed extension and some later model Free-Lock hubs.

“Willys Jeep CJ2A with custom made truck bed and hydraulic pump for plow. It’s a restoration project and appears to be all original. Jeep is complete with drivetrain. It doesn’t run and didn’t when I purchased in 2008 from people in Crystola. I bought it to restore but didn’t get around to it.”

“I have a 1949 CJ3A Jeep for sale. It runs and drives, has a blue bonded title. I got the parts to start the brakes, but haven’t installed them yet. It’s not a rust bucket and would be fine on a ranch as-is, but it needs work. It would be a fun project for someone who has the room and the mechanical ability for a do it yourself project. I am firm on the price.”
