This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Listed as a CJ-2A, this might be a replacement tub. If it was a DJ-3A convertible tub, it would have two vertical supports inside the back of the tub.

(11/24/2020) Advertised as a 1949, this has a 2A body based on the ignition holes in the dash, so it might be a 3A with a 2A body or a late 2A or some other combo.

(09/01/2018) Has a fiberglass body. Includes a parts jeep.
“This is a 1949 Willys cj3a Jeep, it runs pretty good and the transmission is good, however the body is not original, it has a fiberglass body on it. It also comes with a parts Jeep which is a 1947 Willys cj2a Jeep but that one doesn’t have a title. I have a list of stuff I’ve done to it since I bought it and a video of it running if you pm me”

A stock, solid looking CJ-3A. Electrical has been updated to 12 volt.

I purchased this vehicle from the original owner who bought it from a dealer in Glenwood Springs, CO. This is an original Colorado vehicle that runs and drives good. It can be used “as is” around your property or is a great start for a restoration project.
