This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. A CJ-3B will be auctioned Friday, October 24th, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. There appears to be rust near the driver’s step.
UPDATE: Price now $5500.

NO RUST. needs a few things to finish out, seats need reupholstered and needs paint. tires are BFG All terrains and are in perfect shape, aluminum rims, we can paint any color you want and have seats done if you want.“

“Selling an early 1950’s Wiliy’s CJ3B model jeep. Original engine was replaced with a Buick V6 engine. This is somebody’s dream project!”

Looks solid.
“1958 CJ-3B. Body tub is in great shape – it appears that a previous owner pulled the tub and replaced floor pans and so tub and frame are in great shape. Paint is ok but not perfect (crack in paint on left quarter panel and nickel sized paint flake on right quarter panel, various other nicks). I replaced transmission with new one ordered from Kaiser Willys. I also added new Warn premium locker hubs, did substantial brake work (two drums, shoes, a wheel cylinder, etc) and rebuilt steering arm. I believe motor to be original and it starts right off and runs great. My mechanic looked at clutch when we replaced transmission and he said it looks quite new. Mileage could not be verified by prior owner, so no guess as to accuracy. Horn is missing as is emergency brake cable and handle (drum and shoes appear to be in good shape).”
Runs, but needs battery.

Listed as a 1946 CJ-2A, it’s definitely got a CJ-3B body.
