Bentley gave us a heads up on this.  There is a CJ-3B in parts, a CJ-2a, a VEC CJ-2A (mistakenly identified by the auctioneer as a military jeep), and a ton of parts and tools.  The VEC is particularly interesting as it appears to have full floating hubs, so it might be very VEC.

Is this a one off or an aftermarket extension of some kind.

“The Good:
This vehicle is quite complete. No major components are missing. Frame has minimal surface rust. Floorboards are solid, Only a few rust through areas on body. It has an unusual extension at the rear of the body, could be rare.

The Bad:
Will need complete restoration. Fenders bent, no windshield or mirrors, engine is seized. Left front brake binds at times (hard to push vehicle). /font>

I purchased this thinking I would fix it up. However, I’ve got too many projects, and not enough time or money to pursue them all. This vehicle sat out in the elements for quite a while. It looks like some kids put sticks and rocks in the radiator, battery and probably the engine. I have no paperwork for it, the guy I bought it from didn’t either. It’s been out of California’s system so long that it should be easy to get a duplicate title. I’d be happy to fill out a bill of sale if needed.”

(11/04/2012) This runs, but needs work.

“I have for sale a project 1954 Willys CJ3b “high hood” jeep. It has the hurricane 4cyl engine in it that runs but smokes a little. The title came from another jeep cause this one doesnt have and id tags, so the title i have for it says it is a 1948 ford jeep. You could still license it like this.
I needs work. it will need brakes done, electrical done ext. But this is a fun project!”

This appears to be rough on the sides.

“1953 willys jeep. Has an exhaust leak but other than that the jeep runs great i have drove this jeep to town a lot, it is registered as an antique. The body has rust around the back of the fenders / quarter panels. Has good floors. They have been repaired with signs done by previous owner. The jeep is all original has clean original title and has a lot of paper work that shows what all has been done over the years. Asking 3500 obo. Will not consider trades.
